Who am I?
I’m Jennifer. And I have a passion for building confidence, developing people’s skills and abilities, and above all, for creating impact.
I love what I do.
What do I teach?
With subjects ranging from Influence, Presentation Skills, Communication Styles, Presence, Time Management, and other topics in the professional effectiveness realm, I use my theater background coupled with my long history in the corporate world to create a safe and creative environment for professionals to learn and challenge themselves.
And they have a little fun, too.
Who are my clients?
For the last 8 years, I’ve worked in the learning space at Bloomberg L.P., helping to manage the Learning Management System, on-boarding new employees and delivering professional skills training to a variety of managerial levels and functions. I’ve also had the great fortune to work with companies like The Mind Gym, which enable me to deliver training across a wide variety of markets, geographies and industries.
What’s my background?
I have degrees in both Vocal Performance and American History from Boston University. I have worked for corporations and in theaters across America. In my corporate work, I’ve assisted executives at Goldman Sachs, and trained employees at all levels across Bloomberg L.P. I’ve spent many happy years on stage, and many happy years in conference rooms.
There are a surprising number of synergies there.
What else?
I am an accredited Insights practitioner. I also have a deep and abiding love for most Microsoft Office products (Word being the strong exception here), and am currently going through the Microsoft Office Expert Certification in Excel and PowerPoint 2013.
In my spare time, I volunteer with New York Cares and Sing for Your Seniors.
The way to my heart is to rescue / buy / show me a picture of an animal.
